The brishes were unpicked and the bristle prised from theor rootes. I was intersted in the force it took to extract the core material, not for the obvious need for a product to be durable but because i was taking apart its meaning structure. This and that, two forms rather than one known form. What then is the new action of these uprooted elements. I play and try and ground them in alternative ways - neaten the chaos of them no longer being themsleves.
